Over a decade ago I met one of my best friends, Professor Harley Flanders, distiguished Proofessor, author, software developer, and one of the best mathematicians in the world today. We were at the I.B.M. Higher education Conference. Harley had shown his Microcalc version 3.0. I was so impressed, that I told him I was going to buy a site license for the math department as Dale Mabry where I was the Director/Dean of Math and Science. His software is now in version 7.0 which runs in DOS. After almost a decade my wife and I have helped convince him to convert the program to the windows version. Recently he has been working on this task. I can tell you a long story about that first night I met Harley, just ask me!
