At the March 1999 Florida Section of Mathematics Association of America, my wife, Dr Marcelle Bessman of Jacksonville University, was awarded the 1999 Distiguished Award for Outstanding Teaching in Mathematics at the College or University level. She was selected from all the state's college math professors for this award. Below is a copy of the award:
PS: Miki, I am so proud of you, you earned this award for the last 15 years of hard work at changing the way math is taught at the college level, especially with Project Calc at J.U. and your Global Classroom Project with Doug in England.
