CHM 1025C Grade Calculator

You can use this form to calculate your current grade in CHM 1025C based on all graded materials to date.

For each category, enter the total number of points you earned and the total possible for the category to date. For example, if you received 30 out of 30 on the first homework assignment and 25 out of 30 on the second one, then for the homework scores, you would enter

    55 out of 60

The hard copy tentative grading outline shows every objective, every homework, every lab, etc. You should keep your scores on this form. This online calculator incorporates the % of each catagory so as to properly weight your grade at that moment. However, on Blackboard there is a total point earned column versus the grand total. This gives you an overall % average at anytimne after grades have been entered. Remember it is your accumulated total points divided point possible which gives you your final % grade for the assignment of a letter grade.

If you do not have a grade in one of the categories (e.g. the Final Exam), you should leave the total possible as 0.
